Our stocks of food are currently critically low and we really need your assistance. Groundlevel have kindly allowed us to collect food at the show ground including giving us a collection point in the information area and a notice in the big top. We urgently require volunteers to follow up on the notice by going round the campsite for between half an hour and an hour en masse with baskets raising awareness of the collection and collecting food.
The idea is to collect food eg tins and packets that the campers may have left over at the end of grapevine. This food will be used to create food parcels for people in genuine crisis.
Could you and your connect group give half an hour any time between 13:00 – 15:00 on Mon or Tues to make a noise in the camping area to promote and collect food??
We would love to hear from you if you can or have any creative ways of raising awareness of those in crisis during Grapevine.
