What difference can a supermarket collection make?
36 amazing volunteers came together over the 2 days to give out flyers and ask shoppers if they would pick up an extra item (or 2) to donate to Lincoln Foodbank and we were completely blown away by people’s generosity. We saw full baskets and trolleys donated and over the course of the weekend and in total we collected an incredible 144 crates of food which has now been taken to our warehouse and will be put into food parcels for our distribution centres this week.
I can’t stress enough how grateful we are for all the support we receive and every tin donated really does make a difference.
