Exam Results
The pressure of exams was bad enough, but there is something about the helplessness of this wait that is stressful in a different way. There is nothing they can do to change the results, and nothing they can do about their future until they get them. In many ways, this is the worst part. Once we get the results, whatever they are – we can make steps in the right direction.
Even if you aren’t waiting for results, the start of a new academic year is a great time to reevaluate and see if your life is heading in a direction you are pleased with.
Here at Acts Trusts, we have a couple of courses starting in September that can help you!
Our Life:Ready course can help you with setting healthy foundations. During the five-week course, we will look at goal setting, sleep and coping with stress, self esteem, the environment you live in and healthy eating. We will be starting a new course on 12 September at Alive Church.
Our Money Management course has had an overhaul after COVID, and we will be running one of those in October. If you want to get a handle on your finances, and put in place some great practices that will help you long-term, why not consider joining us?
And if you are ready for the ultimate new challenge, and are looking for work, we will be running another Job Club, also starting on 12 September. Our eight-week course covers our motivation and obstacles to work, discovering our strengths, finding out about employers, writing CVs and Application forms, interviews and getting work-ready!
We’d love to see you at any one of these courses. You can register your interest at this website: bit.ly/restore-signup. When you register, you will get an email inviting you to the next course. If you can’t make the September ones, we will be running them again throughout the year.
Here’s what people had to say after completing Life:Ready :-
“My confidence has had a massive boost it has been amazing”
“It’s helped me heal from a very bad relationship! It’s really helped my confidence and how I see myself – and I’ve learnt some much helpful stuff for everyday life.”
“Can I do it all again??”
