Acts Trust at the Lincoln 10k

What a day we had at the Lincoln 10k! The sun was shining, spirits were high, and the Acts Trust team showed up in full force cheering, running, raising money and even pushing a trolley!

This was the first year Acts Trust has been a charity partner of the Lincoln 10k and it did not disappoint. We had such a great mix of people involved. Some people were out there running their first 10k, others were veteran runners. We had marshalls on the sidelines in high-vis, cheering everyone on and helping things run smoothly. And then there was Team Trolley! A group of people pushed our Community Grocery shopping trolley full of Foodbank food around the whole 10k route – and let me tell you the steering on that thing wasn’t easy!

Together, our runners raised an incredible £6700 to support the work of Acts Trust. That’s a massive boost to the work we do across Lincoln to tackle poverty and empower people to thrive – and we couldn’t be more grateful.

A huge thank you to everyone who ran, marshalled, supported, donated, or gave us a shout of encouragement along the way.

We’re already looking forward to next year – maybe we’ll bring two trolleys next time!
