Stronger Together: Building Community Through Partnership
In business terms, a partnership is an arrangement where two or more individuals agree to share ownership, operate together, or collaborate in delivering a product or service. But beyond the practicalities, partnership is about a shared vision, mutual commitment, and working together toward a common goal.
At Restore, we’ve been working hard to explore new avenues and venues to expand the reach of our courses throughout Lincoln. One exciting new development is the launch of Creative Wellbeing—a relaxed, social session in the spirit of a “Knit & Natter”… just with a little less wool! It’s a space where people can connect, create, and unwind together.

We’re also in early conversations with representatives from the DWP and Lincoln Prison to support individuals nearing release. Our aim is to equip them with essential life skills and budgeting tools to help them thrive on the outside. These initiatives reflect our deep commitment to partnering with our community in order to create a more integrated, supportive city.
In addition, we’ve reached out to some of the local churches we already work with to explore using their spaces when our usual venues are at capacity. This would allow us to extend the reach of our courses to even more neighbourhoods—so watch this space! Local churches, rooted in their communities, are ideal partners for making our courses more accessible to those who need them most.
None of this would be possible without partnership—shared ownership with passionate, committed individuals and organisations across Lincoln. So, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to all our hosts, facilitators, and guests. It’s only by working together in partnership that we can deliver courses that genuinely strengthen wellbeing and build a more resilient community.
Hot off the press: We’re thrilled to be welcoming a new team member soon and can’t wait to introduce them to you. We’ll share more about them and their role once everything is finalised.
Thank you for taking the time to read this update. Stay tuned for more news as we continue to grow, partner, and support those who need us most.
