Acts Charity Ball 2025 – A night to remember!
On Thursday 25th April, supporters, sponsors, and friends of Acts Trust gathered at the Hilton for an unforgettable evening at our annual Acts Charity Ball – and what a night it was!
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, donated, bid, and got involved, we raised over £8,000 to support our work in tackling poverty and empowering people to end poverty across Lincoln. Every pound raised goes directly towards supporting our vital projects like Lincoln Foodbank, Night Light Cafes, Restore and our Youth Programme.

We were also thrilled to welcome Scott Perry, who amazed guests with his table magic. Later in the evening, he gave us a brilliant full performance. Make an Entrance kindly sponsored his act, and we’re incredibly grateful for their support in bringing that extra sparkle to the night.
One of the evening’s biggest highlights was our silent and live auctions. They featured exciting prizes donated by generous local businesses and supporters. From holidays and unique experiences to a full table of wine, there was something for everyone. As a result, bids flew in and the room buzzed with energy.

Why It Matters
The money raised is already creating impact. As the needs in our community rise, these funds help us offer practical support and hope. This shows the power of people coming together for a shared cause.
To illustrate this, we shared a moving video featuring Polly, someone we’ve supported. Her story is a powerful reminder of why events like this matter. (You can watch the video below.)
To everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, or helped in any way – thank you. The Acts Charity Ball was much more than a night of entertainment. It was a true celebration of community, compassion, and hope.
