Acts Trust Volunteer Celebration and AGM
On June 25th we had the joy of bringing together around 100 of our wonderful volunteers from our Acts Trust projects for a special afternoon of connection, celebration, and gratitude. Our Volunteer Celebration and AGM is one of the highlights of our year, and this time was no exception.
The afternoon featured some updates from our volunteers about their highlights and challenges over the last year, volunteer interviews, a gallery wall full of special moments from the past year, and of course, some lovely food to enjoy together. Peppered throughout all of this there were many stories of the positive impact that has been made through the work of Acts Trust.
We are so grateful for our incredible volunteers so to spend a few hours with everyone together is a real treat. There was a real sense of warmth and community in the room which was a reflection of the heart that our volunteers bring to their roles every single day and each person in the room has made a real difference to the lives of local people over the past year.
The afternoon ended with our eagerly anticipated Volunteer Awards which are based on our Acts Trust values. With over 100 nominations submitted, choosing just 8 winners was no easy task – but among the many heartfelt tributes, some truly inspiring volunteers stood out.

We are so incredibly grateful for everything our volunteers give to Acts Trust. Whether it’s time, energy, compassion, or specialist skills, their contribution is what makes everything we do possible. Simply put: Acts Trust couldn’t function without them.
As we look ahead to the next year, we’re excited about the journey to come – and we’d love to welcome more people to be part of it.
