Acts Trust’s CEO visits Buckingham Palace!

Simon Hawking, our CEO received an invitation to celebrate the King’s Coronation at the Buckingham Palace Garden Party.

The Garden Party took place on Wednesday 3rd May. Guests were invited to enjoy the sunshine join the King and the Royal Family in celebrating the King’s Coronation. The exclusive invitations are in recognition of people’s service. Many public servants and emergency services workers present as well as charity workers like Simon.

“I received a call informing me that I’d be given an invitation to the garden party at 9:30am on the 1st of February. Why do I remember that? Well, it happened to be the exact minute that the doors opened for the first time at Beaumont Manor. I took that as a sign that we were really doing the right thing!”

Having been founded by Alive Church in 2006, Acts Trust has worked relentlessly in it’s pursuit to Empower People to End Poverty. Simon’s describes his invitation as recognition of the hard work that the whole team has put in over the years in this mission.
