What’s going on at Lincoln Foodbank…

I wanted to use my opportunity this month to highlight the need and demand for Foodbank and to try and raise awareness. In the month of March Lincoln Foodbank fed 692 people of which 265 were children.

Unfortunately the demand on foodbank’s hasn’t decreased. Over past few weeks we have seen a rise in demand for a food parcel. Currently we have more food going out than we have coming in. If you are able to pick up an extra item or two while shopping the items we are most in need of are;

  • Tinned Meals
  • Tinned Fish
  • Tinned Fruit
  • Baked Beans
  • Tinned Spaghetti
  • Noodles
  • Tinned vegetables

Alternatively you can off donation here.

There are many ways to support Foodbank. The Comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean has done this by asking people on her tours to bring biscuits to donate to the Foodbank. It’s so amazing when people use their platform to promote the work of Foodbank We had the pleasure of seeing her show before we picked up the donation. This is just one of the brilliant stories and different ways individuals and groups work to help promote the need for foodbank and offer their support.
